Your feedback regarding quality vs. quantity
News article

After asking for feedback on this question four weeks ago, we've received an astonishing amount of feedback from thousands of users. It took quite a time to read through them all, but the result was overwhelming: while some have mentioned that quantity and frequency should not be neglected, more than 99% of our users have voted for quality in the first place!

We want to thank you for all your feedback, and promise to keep up or even improve quality, while increasing our detectives team (René for example, whom you may have seen in the Team Gallery, has now switched from Support to Detections).

By the way, Acronis Privacy Expert Suite 8.0 is currently flagging our TeaTimer.exe as the Prosiak and Aresinvader trojans. As usual, this is just a false positive, probably based on careless quantity handling.
Second false positive in this news would be old ones... Microsoft AntiSpyware is still complaining about our Immunization. Microsoft has now gone a step further - instead of fixing this bug in their AntiSpyware, we've now got a copy of a letter Microsoft sent to one Spybot-S&D user where they recommend to uninstall Spybot-S&D and to not use the protection given through the Internet Explorer feature Restricted Zones at all. The good old support motto to never recommend a customer to reduce, remove or disable security tools or settings seems to have died in competition there.

We tried to solve both cases without the public first, but Acronis, Inc. (represented through PEZ Kommunikationssysteme GmbH in Germany) told us through their attorneys that this false positive wouldn't even exist, while Microsoft - by the way member of the Anti Spyware Coalition that was founded to solve such problems in a peaceful manner - didn't even care to respond.
